At our early learning centre, we recognize the importance of fostering social and emotional development in our children
A Heartfelt Morning of Love and Togetherness This Father’s Day, our hearts were filled with joy as we gathered to celebrate not just our incredible dads, but also the granddads, moms, and grandmoms who play such a vital role in our Tamariki’s lives. It was a morning of warmth, connection, and delicious treats as we shared a lovely breakfast and morning tea together. The event was a beautiful reflection of the love and care that surrounds our Tamariki every day. The presence of so many family members, each contributing to the sense of community and belonging, truly made the day special. As the children’s faces lit up with excitement, it was clear that the bond they share with their families is the foundation of their growth and happiness. To all the dads and granddads, moms and grandmoms who took the time to join us, we want to extend our deepest thanks. Your support and participation mean the world to our Tamariki and to all of us who care for them. Your involvement not only strengthens the family ties but also enriches the community we are building together. As we look back on this morning, we are reminded of the importance of these moments of connection. They are the threads that weave our community together, creating a tapestry of love, support, and shared joy. Thank you for making this Father’s Day celebration one to remember, and for being such an integral part of our Tamariki’s lives.”

Exciting News! The fortnightly cycle of Little Scientists programme start today at Lollipops Albany. The Little Scientist brings science to life with our tamariki. It is an exciting point of difference for us and has been adapted to be delivered with an ever changing set of experiments. the programme includes activities that encourage the tamariki to “think like a scientist”👩🔬👨🔬, using all 5 senses to hypothesize (educated guess) and then test to see the results. The programme is tailored to suit pre-school children, weaving all the strands, goals and learning outcomes of Te Whariki into a fun and educational experience where tamariki will discover first hand just how exciting science can be!
